Touring Ensembles

Each year the Jackson Symphony's Touring Brass Quintet performs a series of workshops in West  Tennessee schools. Students are introduced to the brass instruments and a variety of music in these 45 minute in-school workshop/performances. Members of the quintet are Dr. Lee Weimer and Tom Grant, trumpets; Gail Page, horn; Dr. Jeremy Kolwinska, trombone and Charlie Huffman, tuba.

This year's tour included the following schools:  Jackson Christian School,

Lincoln, Arlington and Trenton Elementary Schools, and Medina Middle School.  The group performed for nearly 1200 students.
