Matthew Stover, Executive Director

Matthew Stover joined the Jackson Symphony Orchestra in October of this year.  He comes to Jackson from the Concert Association of Florida where he was the director of operations and assistant to the president.  During his two years there, he was responsible for the logistical and technical requirements for guest artists and organizations.  Other duties included marketing, public relations, educational outreach, and artist and venue contract review and preparation.  He received a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and Entertainment Industries, with a minor in Computer Information Systems, from the University of Miami in Coral Gables.

Lynn White, Education Coordinator

Lynn White received a B. S. degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, and taught elementary school for seven years.  She served as Principal for a small school in West Tennessee for three years.  She has been active in the Jackson Symphony League for many years, and has served as President, initiated their art contest, The Color of Music and the Spirit of Christmas auction.   Lynn ’s duties with the Symphony include serving as interim executive director as well as coordinating the organization’s educational programs.  To contact Mrs. White by email, click here.

Paige Holmes, Development Director

   Paige Holmes recently joined The Jackson Symphony as its Development Director.    Having received her MBA from Union University in 2007, Paige is also an adjunct instructor of Business for Columbia State Community College. Before coming to the symphony, Paige was the Communications Director of United Way of West Tennessee and the Executive Director of the Tennessee River Trails Association.  She also worked as the Business Advisor for the Union University (SIFE) Student’s in Free Enterprise organization. She has spent the majority of her career in Human Resources as a manager of multiple medical family practice offices and as a recruiter in the temporary services industry. Paige received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications from Freed-Hardeman University in 1990. Paige is a Leadership Jackson Alumnus, class of 1999.  She served on the Alumni Board in 2001. Contact Paige by email, click here

Elizabeth Weimer, Youth Orchestra Conductor and Assistant to Development

Elizabeth Weimer holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Teaxas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University) and a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Mississippi .  She currently teaches beginning band at Jackson Career and Technology Magnet Intermediate School in Jackson, TN.  She has served as Music Director of the Rhodes College Orchestra and Assistant Conductor of the Germantown Symphony Orchestra. She has taught music for the Austin (TX) Independent School District and for Shelby County (TN) Schools. She became the Interim Director of Development in the summer of 2006. Joni Marks, Administrative Assistant

Joni Marks joined the staff of the Jackson Symphony initially as a volunteer and became a regular of the staff in 2005.  Ms. Marks worked with AT&T in Charlotte, North Carolina before moving Jackson.  Joni graduated from Hiram College with a degree in Political Science. 

Tricia Wilburn, Sinfonia Strings Conductor, Violin Instructor 

Tricia Wilburn received a Bachelor of Music Education from Kansas State University. She has performed as a violinist in the Memphis Symphony, the Pensacola Symphony, the Coastal Symphony of Georgia and as Concertmaster with the Germantown Symphony and Central Florida Symphony. She has taught violin at Rhodes Music Academy , Pensacola Junior College and the Escambia County School District in Florida .
