Gifts of $1001 qualify for membership in the Celebrity Club.. Benefits of membership in the club, for large donors, include invitations to receptions and parties, complimentary concert tickets for your friends, and of course, recognition. As soon as you make your pledge, we ask that you schedule a time to come by the symphony office so that we may take your photograph for inclusion in the concert program along with other members of the Celebrity Club.
Our staff is always available to discuss ways to make your gift to the orchestra more personal or ways you can benefit a specific program in which you have a special interest. We would also be happy to discuss options for planned giving and gifts to our Endowment Fund.

Annual Fund

In addition to the outstanding seven concert subscription series, the Jackson Symphony provides a variety of outreach and educational programs, many of them free to the citizens of Jackson and surrounding communities. Each year, thousands enjoy the Starlight Symphony and the Christmas Gift to the Community Concerts. The orchestra’s Touring Brass Quintet and Percussion Ensemble provide free educational performances to schools throughout West Tennessee. The Piano Trio offers a series of Recitals for Seniors.

However, the orchestra does have significant expenses associated with these programs. Ticket sales provide only about half of the revenue needed to keep the orchestra’s budget balanced. It is only through the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community, that we are we are able to offer these programs that do so much to enrich the quality of life in our area.

Available at your local County Clerk's office.

Add a little pizzazz to your ride!

Tennesseans are doing just that by purchasing unique and colorful specialty license plates.  It's a fun way to express your individuality and support the cultural life of Tennessee.  Purchasing a license plate provides funding and support for arts activities in your own community, including the Jackson Symphony, through the grant programs offered by the Tennessee Arts Commission.  The Tennessee Arts Commission started benefiting from revenue generated by the sale of specialty license plates in 1983.  The demand for these specialty plates has steadily increased, and now provides over two thirds of the Commission's grants budget.
