After several years of planning, the Community Music Center at Union University opened its doors in the Fall of 1999. The center offers instruction in group piano, early childhood music, a children's choral ensemble, a dramatic ensemble and private lessons. 

The Community Music Center currently has more than one hundred students enrolled in it programs.  Mariah Bailey has recently been appointed Director of the center. The mission of the Community Music Center is to enrich the community and the lives of people of all ages through instruction and experience in music.
